Specificity and cross-reactivity

Specific for Hsc70 under both native and denaturing conditions. Detects a ~73kD protein, corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of Hsc70 on SDS-PAGE immunoblots. Species Crossreactivity: human, monkey, mouse, hamster, guinea pig, rat, rabbit, bovine, sheep, porcine, canine and chicken. Will not react with Hsc70 ATPase fragment or Hsp70.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.

Storage and shipping

Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short term storage.. For long-term storage, For optimal long term storage, the antibody should be kept at -20 degrees Celsius. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
